Brazil's Portonave Terminal Breaks Record

In June, Portonave S/A - Terminais Portuários de Navegantes, the first private container port terminal in Brazil and one of the largest in operation, received the largest container ship operating on the Brazilian coast. The APL Paris measures 347 meters in length, 45.2 meters in width, and has the capacity to transport 10,789 TEUs. Moffatt & Nichol, in partnership with Portonave, conducted the mooring studies of the terminal for vessels of this size, up to 350 meters in length. The availability for receiving ships of this size will continue to promote the growth of the region's economy, and consequently, of Brazil.
