Moffatt & Nichol welcomes Luis Chinaglia! Luis is a senior mechanical engineer, who will expand our services and capabilities in the mechanical systems and project management sectors throughout the region and in the global market. Luis brings more than 15 years of experience as a mechanical engineer and project manager with expertise in construction services and project management for all project development phases, from initial investment analysis up to plant start-up. Prior to joining Moffatt & Nichol, Luis has worked as mechanical engineer and project coordinator. His mechanical engineering experience includes dry bulk materials handling, and liquid bulk. Luis is also experienced with rotating, static, crane, and HVAC equipment for various industries, including oil and gas, ports, petrochemical, wood processing, and others.
Luis received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Centro Universitário FEI in São Bernardo do Campo and completed post graduate program in production management at Fundacao Vanzolini– USP in Brazil. He also completed a postgraduate program in project management at Humber College, in Toronto, Canada. Luis is a licensed mechanical engineer in Brazil.
