The Living Classrooms Foundation is a non-profit organization with a mission to bring accessible, hands-on education, and job training to underprivileged youth in the Baltimore, Maryland, and Washington, DC, areas. Moffatt & Nichol prepared the grant application for a Waterway Improvement Fund for renovations to enhance public boating access infrastructure, water safety, and navigation. The Living Classroom Foundation was awarded $250,000 for the redesign of its existing marina pictured below. Moffatt & Nichol will develop a request for proposal package, assist in the bidding, and provide permitting services for the upgrades.
