In order to create a harborfront rich in tradition and local flavor while offering new opportunities for recreation and boating, Jefferson Parish selected Moffatt & Nichol to lead the design of a 30-acre open space, living shoreline and waterfront vision plan along southern Lake Pontchartrain near New Orleans. As part of the public outreach effort, a website was created to garner feedback from the community on the project’s mission and core tenets, as well as vision plan concepts.
