Francisco Vega is an engineering professional with more than 23 years of experience, in both the private and public sectors. Much of his experience has involved the development of maritime, coastal, mining, and industrial engineering projects and studies. He has served as a project manager responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary teams and clients. In addition, he has led structural design teams in the detailed design for land and maritime works, including multipurpose port infrastructure, piers, and other marine structures. Francisco received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, with an emphasis in structural engineering, from the Universidad de Concepción and went on to earn a master’s degree in structural and geotechnical engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
