Moffatt & Nichol Welcomes Frank Yang

With an emphasis on waterfront structures, Frank’s work has involved structural and seismic analysis, engineering design, construction support, and project management for a wide variety of waterfront and public works projects. His areas of specialization include floating structures, mooring and berthing, passing ship analysis, fender design, and concrete design. Frank also has particular expertise in large floating concrete structures. His project work includes many piers and wharfs for the U.S. military, government agencies, and private clients.

Before joining Moffatt & Nichol, Frank worked for global infrastructure firms as a project manager and marine structures engineer. Frank is a licensed professional engineer in Washington, Alaska, and California. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington and earned his master’s degree in civil engineering at Stanford.
