Dr. Herodotos Pentas has over 30 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on the design of steel and concrete structures in transportation and bridge engineering. He has performed numerous bridge analyses, designs, and ratings, and designed various complex structures and foundations. In addition to structures, his wide range of transportation work has involved feasibility studies, watershed studies, and intelligent transportation. Herodotos has extensive experience with the Louisiana Department of Transportation highway and roadway systems. In addition to his consulting work, Herodotos has served as an adjunct professor at LouisianaState University.
Herodotos received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He went on to earn his doctorate in civil engineering from Louisiana State University. He is licensed as a professional engineer in Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, and Texas.
