We would like to welcome Jason Emoto to our Honolulu office! Jason is a senior structural #engineer with 25 years experience. With an emphasis in vertical structures, Jason has designed and managed a wide variety of projects across the western United States, Pacific islands, and Japan. He has designed more than 4 million square feet of buildings ranging from single story houses to high-rise towers. He has also performed evaluations and retrofit design for dozens of existing buildings including historic and essential facilities. Jason manages projects from concept through construction to ensure successful performance in design quality, budget, and schedule.
Prior to joining Moffatt & Nichol, Jason worked for professional consulting and engineering firms in the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii. He received his bachelor and master’s degrees in civil engineering from the University of Washington. Jason is a licensed structural engineer in Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington.
