Lawrence (Larry) DeRose, PE, has more than 40 years of marine, structural, and civil engineering consulting experience, emphasizing port, marine terminal, structural, and land development projects. Larry is experienced in all aspects of planning and has led complex projects from feasibility studies and development through construction. He is familiar with the regulatory aspects of land use and finding creative solutions for challenging site conditions. Larry has been involved with projects throughout the eastern United States and in the West Indies, Virgin Islands, and the Bahamas.
Prior to joining Moffatt & Nichol, Larry worked for professional consulting and engineering firms in Florida. Larry received his Bachelor of Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey. He is a licensed professional engineer in Florida and a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
