We would like to welcome Michael Layne to our #Chipley office! Michael is a #transportation project manager with more than 19 years’ experience, with a focus on water resources! Michael launched his consulting career with a professional services and infrastructure firm as a highway designer in Florida. He transitioned to the public sector, and while he was with the City of Burlington, North Carolina, Michael focused on water resources, including sanitary sewer, and gained a strong understating of government-based operations. Michael returned to consulting as a senior project manager, focusing on Florida-based water, wastewater, stormwater, and environmental projects. In addition, Michael served on the North Carolina Nutrient Scientific Advisory Board, where he gained a thorough understanding of implementing programs aimed at reducing nitrogen and phosphorus from surface waters.
Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Florida State University, Tallahassee.
