We would like to welcome Nancy Lehr, PE, APMP, to our #RichmondVA office! Nancy is a senior marine structural and coastal #engineer with more than 14 years’ experience! With an emphasis on port and waterfront projects, Nancy’s work has focused on many types of marine structural projects, including bulkheads, sheet-pile walls, and pile foundations, plans and specifications, and construction administration and observation. Her design experience also includes major port rehabilitations, marina layout and design, dredging and dredged material management. As the project manager for dozens of large and small marine structural engineering projects, she uses her dual experience in port and coastal engineering to bring efficiencies to structural design loading for loads induced by coastal elements such as storm surge, breaking waves, and wind-driven waves.
Prior to joining Moffatt & Nichol, Nancy worked for professional consulting and engineering firms on projects throughout the Southeast, Caribbean and in the Great Lakes. She received both her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and her Master of Science in Coastal and Oceanographic Engineering from the University of Florida. Nancy is an APM Associate Project Management Professional (APMP) and is a registered engineer in eight states.
