Focusing on coastal projects, Peter’s work has involved conducting site assessments, characterizing inlet and shoreline processes, preparing sediment budgets, and performing numerical modeling. He offers a wealth of experience instate and federal permitting, including Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers regulations and processes. Peter has worked on a wide range of projects, including post-hurricane emergency repairs, storm surge studies and flooding analyses, and engineered solutions for shoreline and inlet stabilization. Peter earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania, and went on to receive a Master of Science in Coastal and Oceanographic Engineering from the University of Florida. He is active in the American Shore and Beach Preservation Association and Florida Shore and Beach Preservation Association.
