We are excited to welcome Randall Harris to our Richmond office! Randall is a senior highway design and construction engineer whose experience will enhance our project and construction management offerings. As an engineering professional, Randall has been responsible for regional team leadership and expanding transportation business lines. He has been involved with significant highway and roadway projects throughout Virginia, including those with complex interchanges. Prior to joining Moffatt &Nichol, Randall worked for national and international engineering design and construction engineering firms. Before launching his career as a consulting engineer, Randall served four years in the U.S. Army as a combat engineer. He currently serves as a board member with the American Society of Highway Engineers.
Randall received his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University and is a member of TauBeta Pi National Engineering Honor Society.
Throughout his career, Randall's experience has included the design of small, rural roadways to large interstates, as well as the supervision of technical staff, preliminary and final horizontal and vertical alignments for roadways on new and existing locations, value engineering, stormwater site design; drainage design, public involvement, utility design, right-of-way computations, and final estimates and specifications.
