After a hurricane strikes, such as the case in Hillsboro, Florida, shorelines may necessitate restoration. Hillsboro Beach was impacted in 2016 by Hurricane Matthew and again in 2017 by Hurricane Irma. Moffatt & Nichol assisted the Town of Hillsboro Beach with the beach nourishment project by obtaining environmental permits, performing post-storm assessments, and conducting three years of monitoring and surveying.
