The Monterey Dunes Way Emergency Culvert Repair project received an ACEC California Commendation Award in the 2022 Engineering Excellence Awards competition. Moffatt & Nichol, the design engineer, provided a cost-effective, environmentally sensitive solution for the repair and reconstruction of the two previously damaged culverts. The new culverts will help protect local agricultural land from flood damage. Congratulations to all involved on this project!
