Andy Funke is a marine construction management professional with 20-plus years of estimating and project management experience in the dredging industry. He has prepared accurate projections and bids for 475-plus dredging projects, including bids up to $250 million for international, national, state, and local entities, as well as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. His project experience includes land reclamation, shoreline protection, and channel, harbor, lake maintenance and deepening, as well as drilling, blasting, and environmental dredging. In addition to Andy’s estimating experience, he has been responsible for performing risk assessments, vetting equipment performance, and evaluating project-related data throughout the tender process and active project.
Andy received his bachelor’s degree from Fort Hays State University in Kansas.
