Chris is an experienced and accomplished senior project manager and civil engineer with more than 26 years of experience in the islands. He joins us from a full-service planning and engineering firm, where he was responsible for the overall design and management of the civil engineering division. Chris has extensive experience with both public and private clients and is well-versed in federal and state, county, and local standards and requirements, with experience bringing Hawaii's local culture into design and construction.
His expertise includes site design, master planning, infrastructure and grading/drainage design. He has been involved with design projects for federal, educational, and commercial facilities; community and residential infrastructure; as well as waterfront, transportation, and safety improvements.
As a sustainable/low impact design LEED accredited professional, Chris believes in creating long-term sustainable designs for coastal resilience in Hawaii. Chris is also an enthusiastic mentor who strives to share enthusiasm and passion for design that goes beyond functionality.
Chris is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, and is a registered professional engineer in Hawaii.
