Herman is an experienced port and coastal infrastructure project manager and design professional who has provided consultancy services for more than a decade, developing and enhancing port and coastal infrastructure facilities. His areas of focus have included project management, international construction contracts, international project acquisition, and client relations. Herman’s experience includes port planning (both greenfield and brownfield), breakwaters, navigation channels for container, multipurpose, and bulk terminals and ship repair facilities. He has worked extensively in Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean.
Herman received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Stellenbosch University, where he completed a Master of Science in Port and Coastal Engineering.
