Iman has more than 13 years of experience in consulting and research in the field of structural engineering and advanced numerical analysis. As a consultant, Iman has led high-impact projects across various sectors, including water, transportation, nuclear, and oil and gas, where he has contributed to the development of effective numerical modeling strategies to reduce design and construction costs, schedules, and risks. His expertise spans evaluating geotechnical and structural systems under static and dynamic loading, developing strategies for soil-structure interaction, fluid-structure interaction, train-bridge interaction, and structural impact analysis, as well as performing seismic risk assessments and health monitoring for civil infrastructures. After receiving his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Tehran, Iman went on to earn his PhD in Structural Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
