Welcome Miluše Tichavska

Throughout her career, Miluše has advocated for sustainability and carbon reduction within the technology, transport, and logistics industries, focusing on ports and terminals. With a background in environmental economics, Miluše has led projects that meet industry standards, while establishing new benchmarks for sustainability. Miluše has cultivated enduring relationships with customers, partners, regulatory bodies, and non-governmental organizations, promoting a culture of sustainability and ethical practices through strategic collaborations. As Green Ports/Sustainability Director at Moffatt & Nichol, Miluše will continue leading and advancing comprehensive sustainability strategies that align with and enhance clients’ organizational objectives, while driving positive environmental impacts and value across the port industry and beyond. In addition, Miluše will work with Moffatt & Nichol’s environmental and water teams in developing estimates for environmental and social benefits for projects that are now at the forefront of resilience initiatives.

Miluše received her Master of Science in Sustainable Development, before completing her PhD in Environmental Economics at the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Beyond academia, she is a contributing expert to the United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (UN/CEFACT) and has served on panels, for the International Maritime Organization's Global Industry Alliance, among others.
