Tom has over 30 years of experience in conducting environmental assessments and coordinating regulatory permitting for numerous public and private projects in upland, wetland, and coastal habitats in South Florida and throughout the Southeastern United States. Through this experience, he has had extensive interaction with environmental regulatory permitting staff at federal, state and local environmental regulatory agencies. Tom received a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from Long Island University, with subsequent graduate level coursework in coastal sciences at Nova Southeastern University.
