This general engineering contract allows us to focus on client service while applying proactive leadership and cultivating local talent to bring forward FDOT 3’s program goals.
As Florida Department of Transportation, District Three’s (FDOT D3) general engineering consultant we are providing services across all of the district’s functional areas for 2020 through 2025. The contract covers project support from conceptualization and development through construction, operations, and maintenance. Specific services include providing project management, as an extension of department staff, for feasibility studies, project development and environmental studies, and final design. We also are assisting with the annual resurfacing program and development of the annual roadway landscape program, as well as producing project scopes for procurement. As such, cost estimating services are provided to produce long-range estimates for roadway, bridge, intelligent transportation systems, signalization, and landscape projects, as well as right-of-way. Operations support includes traffic operations, construction, and maintenance, wherein intersection studies are produced and/or reviewed, constructability reviews are conducted, contract time calculations are produced, and maintenance contract cost estimates are reviewed. In the event of a natural disaster, we will provide emergency response services to include damage assessments, cost estimating, emergency construction contract development, and coordination with the Federal Highway Administration and Federal Emergency Management Agency.
